Before he was the founder of one of Bloomsburg’s most trusted real estate companies, Mike Morucci was a force on the football field. A two-time All-American at Bloomsburg University and later inducted into the BU Football Hall of Fame, Mike’s dedication carried him all the way to the NFL as a draft pick for the Miami Dolphins. But after football, Mike faced a new kind of challenge: finding his path off the field. Back home in Bloomsburg, he noticed something that sparked his next great play — the need for better student housing near the university. In 1984, with determination and an unwavering work ethic as his playbook, Mike founded Morucci Realty. What started with one property quickly grew into a portfolio of student rentals designed with comfort, safety, and quality at the forefront.

A decade ago, Mike’s daughter, Nikki Morucci, stepped into the family business.
As a teenager, Nikki fell in love with Florida. After family trips to St. Augustine, she was captivated by its beauty, history, and lifestyle. She dreamed of one day living there — and slowly convinced her family to make the move from Pennsylvania. That spark eventually became a full expansion of Morucci Realty into the St. Augustine market, where the company now, alongside the Bloomsburg properties, also manages vacation rentals, long- and short-term housing, and commercial properties.
When Nikki officially joined the business years later, she began to infuse the company with a creative design eye, a modern touch, and a deeply personal approach to customer care. Nikki honors the heritage her father built while elevating it for the future — ensuring every property, whether in Bloomsburg or St. Augustine, reflects the values of warmth, excellence, and attention to detail. She is approachable, down-to-earth, and extremely organized, executing day-to-day operations with precision, allowing the business to continue to flourish.
